Pokemon Go Grass Event

Supposedly there are additional grass type spawning.

I wouldn't have known, my area's always lousy with Hoppips anyway and it's not like Valentines when the nearby was a sea of pink, or the water when it seemed like the only thing spawning was water type. How's about everyone else?

A couple of Hopkins and the Sunkerns around every corner. Both a rare sight so I'm happy

Ohh, that explains why there were so many Exeggcutes the other day. That was the only difference I noticed, but I didn't know there was an event so I thought it was just coincidence.

I guess I'll go out for a while today before it gets dark since I'm already one Hoppip candy short of 100.

Well, I saw a Hoppip (which is kind of uncommon) and Sunkern (which I've only ever seen one of) at the only stop I went to today. Huh.

I caught two Sunkerns, which I hadn't had before. But those were the only grass type that spawned all day.

SO MANY SUNKERNS! Seriously, they're everywhere. When before I think I'd only seen one. I was finally able to evolve a Sunflora. ^_^

Other than that, I've seen on Hoppip, a couple of Chikoritas and a bunch of Exeggcutes. The Exeggcutes weren't exactly rare, but the others have been.

Found an Exeggute, but otherwise it's just been Sentrets, Pidgeys, and Venonats, as per usual.

Oh! And lures are lasting 6 hours right now. I wish they'd made that more obvious.

I really, really wish they would make their events last longer because it kind of sucks when they last a week or less and you have a full-time job so you only have two days where you can go out hunting for stuff.

I don't think I've ever been short on grass pokemon. What I really need is more Charmanders! I finally had gotten enough candies to make a Charizard, but all of my Charmanders were super super low CP and I hadn't seen one in months. I finally evolved on that was high stats, but now I still have a super low CP Charizard. Meanwhile, I have enough candies for a second Venusaur, and my current Venusaur is maxed out CP.
