All of the Chicago shows are guilty of similar things and it rubs me the wrong way. The only one I watch is Chicago Fire because B) I usually agree with their particular Moral of the Week but mainly A) I like most of the characters and Severide is hot. I can't stick with show where I don't like the majority of characters and I'm most likely to keep up with a show that has some eye candy for me. Chicago Med just doesn't do that. Worse, the few episodes I saw came off very much like Blue Bloods and I despise that show for its proselytising.

The Dick Wolf Chicago shows are pretty bad, aren't they? I mean, Chicago Fire has some good characters, but I got sick of the exaggerated rate of personnel leaving the house through death or conflict with other characters, and once Leslie was gone, I gave up.

I tried watching the courtroom one once, and it was pretty bad.

I watch Chicago Fire. I like it, but it does the same thing. This just isn't how the real world works!

I like P.D. because I still find Elias Koteas incredibly attractive after all these years.

Spoilers for all the Chicago shows

My main issue with Chicago Med right now is them giving Noah a bigger role because he irritates the hell out of me, and also breaking up Sarah and Joey because they were adorable, and seemingly pushing Sarah onto Noah. The endless Will/Natalie drama has gotten really old, too. I'm pretty close to giving up the show, especially when there are SO many others out there I like way better and I only have so much free time.

Fire I gave up after they killed Shay because apparently she was my only reason for watching. (I didn't realize that until I tried watching after she left but it just didn't keep my interest.)

PD I'm still watching. I'm a little annoyed with the Erin/Jay drama but am hoping it won't last too much longer because I like the show otherwise.

Justice I watched a couple episodes of, but I disliked the one with the case against Atwater (seriously, whoever thought it was a good idea to try to get people invested in new characters by putting them up against an already established character is a total moron) and the one with the Muslim murder victim was a bunch of bigoted garbage.

I guess overall, I'm not a huge fan of these shows (which is strange because in S1 of Fire, I was pretty much obsessed with it and at the time loved it more than I had another show in years).

+1
