I really hate twitter. I hate how she keeps trying say stuff now instead of when she was writing the book. All this stuff she says after the fact rings hollow.

So ignore it.

How can I still call myself a Potterhead and ignore the Word of God? It's impossible to ignore.

All writers pretty much do this now, sorry to say, because most writers have this kind of extra info about their stories floating around in their heads and social media is an easy place to share it. Most of it is just things that wouldn't have fit in the story, or would have bogged it down if it all got added in the text.

It would've been foolish to say too much while she was writing the books because she didn't yet know exactly what would be in the books. In fact a couple of times she did say something, fans took it as gospel and then she changed it. e.g. the last word of the book being 'scar' and the "someone will show signs of magic late in life" idea.
