I think JKR pictured a white Hermione when she wrote the books. I also think it's cool that she supports people thinking Hermione's not white, and it's fine if she changed her mind and now pictures Hermione as black, and if I'm wrong and she always pictured Hermione as black, that's cool too. I don't see the point in laughing at her being caught out in ... changing her mind about a character she wrote? I mean, so what? My view of Hermione doesn't change that much if she's suddenly black. But then, I'm one of those people who's still weirded out that buck-toothed bushy-haired book Hermione became Emma Watson in the films, so I guess I can see getting hung up on someone's interpretation of a character. But then movie Hermione didn't ruin the books for me, or anything, I liked both.
