DA I just want to add that some kids are disturbed by things without knowing why, or being able to explain why. And sometimes stuff aimed at those kids can be hit or miss.

And then you go back when you get older and think, hm, why was that disturbing to me as a kid? and since you're older, you're better able to articulate what was so nasty about it.
