Lol at the idea of "magically/magi-tech" roofies, this is why calling them rapists is ridiculous you have to make up stuff to justify it

DA - A major point or purpose of sci-fi/fantasy is to serve as a heightened metaphor for real-world problems and experiences. Just because ridiculous, made-up elements are involved doesn't mean the characters aren't going through "internally consistent" trauma and it doesn't mean the blatant metaphor that the audience is supposed to be responding to is less meaningful or reflective of real-life experiences.
