22. As someone who's actually read the source material...I prefer the movie. It's just more fun. Alan Moore...his stuff's usually hit or miss with me, but it always feels like it just has to be gritty and disturbing. That's cool. Makes for some truly amazing work. But in the end, I prefer wacky hijinks from famous literary characters in a somewhat ridiculous action-adventure movie to...well, the comics. Plus, Skinner>Griffin or whatever the original's name was.

24. I'm furious because by Silver Chair, it's clear that Caspian has a (very chaste, sweet) crush on Lucy. BECAUSE HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THAT OLD! He should be maybe a year older than Edmund.

37. Nuuuuuuuuuu! I dunno, it would squick me. Charlie was like kid-brother or something. Plus, Charlie grows up to be a jerk. Granted, it's better than Bernard/Curtis. That's just disturbing. I'd rather have an OC show up for some Bernard romancing, if it must be, but then all the OC's are sparkly-but-sassy Mary Sues.
...and heaven help me, I still read through them. And the slash...

43. Wow. Way to lose. I mean, I totally lose respect for people who enjoy watching a well-written, funny show that has better continuity and world-building than most "adult" fandoms. All-ages means just that. It does not mean "for childrens only."

50. I don't think I ship them, but I think they'd be a brOTP of sorts with me. I never thjought of shipping them, but now... Darn it, nameless guy was just so cute and quitely supportive. He might have a name. Maybe in the credits?

66. Well, I started listening to Blues so I could write an original character (not for ff) better, but no one knocks blues. But I have started listening to country and bluegrass, and for that, I blame fandom, in a very very roundabout way.

And personally, I think it's really cool that you listen to music you think your character would, rather than doing like a lot of writers do, and forcing their prefered music choices on a character. Kudos, and I hope you have fun with your fic!

Nameless pirate is credited as 'Skinny Pirate.' I don't know that he actually was, but I tend to think of him as the first mate, what with the whole "Captain's busy, so should you be!" line and a general air of being semi-in-charge.

He seemed like the only one of the pirates who openly knew of Shakespeare's secret proclivities. Throwing him looks to tell him he was acting 'out of character' and such. So yeah, it was definitely the supportiveness and the looks/eye rolling that got me. ^^;

What, just Skinny Pirate? Lame! He should at least be first mate. Ah man, now I want to write fiction just to give him a name. A good, sexy name. (Although Gaiman's such a nice guy, I'll bet if someone wrote his blog and asked what he thought the name of the first mate should be, he'd come up with something amazing).

I figured they all knew, though. "We always knew you was a whoopsie." But first mate just sort of...kept him in check. Unspoken and all that.

Ah man. Now I think I really do ship it. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHOh well...

The way I see it, they all knew, but First Mate is the only one that Shakespeare was aware knew. Which is why he [First Mate] was all with the pointed glances and eyerolling and such and Shakespeare didn't think it odd, just reacted accordingly.

(Dude, I suck at this being secretive thing, as I almost just replied as myself. Not that it's a terrible secret or anything, but seriously, I'd make a terrible spy.)

Also, would like to take this opportunity to say: Ten! Doctor Who = ♥. As does Life on Mars, though I'm more partial to Sam. (Sorry, pokin' through your icons like the nosy person I am. XD)
