70. OH, SERIOUSLY, SHUT UP. IF A PERSON WANTS TO BELIEVE IN A RELIGION, LET THEM AND DON'T HATE THEM BECAUSE OF IT. I SWEAR, I CANNOT STAND ANYMORE OF THIS RELIGIOUS WAR THING. Sure, religious people have done a lot of bad, but so has non-believers, yet you don't see me hating an entire people! You know who was one of the main targets for the Nazis durring WW2? Not just Jews, but priests and other holy people! So discrimination can happen on both sides. Now Catholicism has not been the nicest religion in the world, especially to my religion Judaism, not to mention the Muslim Moors, but you can't blame all catholics for the doings of a few. A large portion of my friends are Catholic and *gasp* somehow I am still alive! OMfG. (That was the most pathetic rant EVER but I'm tired.)

I thought it was a good rant. Your last bit made me giggle. My best friend at college was Jewish (I'm Catholic), and our various backgrounds provided no end of amusements. For one, we'd debate who's family was better at making them feel guilty. (I thought I won until he had to move back home...)

But yeah, the oppression thing...we don't do that anymore. ^_^

That's the best part about inter-cultural friendships-the hilarity. And for the record, I gotta go with Jewish guilt over Catholic guilt! Maybe I'm biased ;)

Nah. Jews have, what, that one day a year when you don't eat to atone for all your sins? Catholics worked out a whole system where we can go and tell a priest what a bad bad person we've been and we should be punished--and we can do it every single day.

Besides, Jewish history is filled with suffering. Catholic history is...filled with causing other people's suffering. We've got a lot of guilt left in our systems...

And just because this is teh Internets and it doesn't always carry through, that whole post is meant in jest, with no disrespect to any religion at all.
