I resent this secret. I'm a mother, and I love Avatar. It's one of the few cartoons I can sit down and watch with my daughter and enjoy. Most of the cartoons on currently are inane and pointless, at least Avatar is well done and has a story.

S/he's not worth resenting, fellow mom. Avatar's remarkably well done and fun to watch. If someone doesn't like that adults enjoy it, they're the ones with the maturity problem.

Well said. :) I get so happy when I find a show marketed towards kids that is fun to watch as an adult. It's as if the creators realise that we're going to have to watch it as much as the children.

Exactly! Especially when the show doesn't bother putting in 'over the head' jokes for the adults but instead focuses on having good characters and an interesting story (which, let's face it, is hard enough to find in adult shows).

That is why I tend to stick to the British series. The season and the series tend to be shorter, so the story is fully developed and well done.

Agreed. Well, I'm not a mother, but Avatar is the only show that I can watch on Nick together with my mom or dad without them saying "What a stupid show! Change the channel!"
