I'm also a bi female fan and sometimes I have complicated thoughts regarding this, I like eye candy but I don't really like objectification. If a female character is presented as nothing more then an object, I'm more likely to be annoyed then turned on.

I think a big issue is so much sex appeal is through the male perspective and is designed specifically for men. I don't even find fanservice to always be sexy, a lot of times it's just embarrassing.
