Pets and international moving don't really mix, unless you plan to rehome it as soon as you move, OP. If you plan to take the pet with you, be certain you're aware of the new country's laws about pets and quarantining. Honestly I think the long quarantine period isn't fair to impose on a dog or cat.

I'd stick with what others have suggested - look at local animal shelters for volunteering opportunities, or see if you can get a gig walking dogs or pet-sitting, which can earn a little cash on the side as well.

Yeah, seconding this. If it's just one move, that's ok, but lots of moving around and international moving really isn't an ideal situation to have a pet in. Pets need routine and stability.
