Uh, so you'd rather have no activity?

I know irritating fans too, but a big part of what's nice about fandom is that anyone can play. Perhaps you should remove yourself from there, if it bugs you so.

Seconding - better no activity or very little than be repeatedly disappointed by terrible fic. I say this while also wanting to support fledgling authors; I just want to support them somewhere that is not my small fandom.

You do know there's quite a lot of middle ground between "lots of new fics but they're terrible quality" and "no new fics at all", right? And that disliking the former doesn't mean that you love the latter?
