My grandpa liked Young and the Restless and he knew I liked soaps and when we would talk on the phone, he would sometimes describe the over-the-top goings-on in Genoa City. It's been a long time since he passed away, but I still check in with The Young and the Restless from time to time because it makes me think of him. I still miss him, but now it makes me smile. They still have some of those same characters he would talk about.
