Yes, and selfish. Acknowledging that a fic needs work and requesting concrit is one thing. Coyly moaning that you suck as a writer to trap people into giving reassuring compliments is self absorption at its most annoying.

Also, seeing the "This sux, r&r anyway?" comments remind me of the people who say, "Ew, this is gross. Here, taste it."
