Ok, responding to my own comment is fail I know, but I'm a little disturbed by the bashing/negative/anti-feminist comments to this secret. :/ Especially the "That's life get over it." attitudes.

The OP has a right to feel offended by fan service, even if it is in a male oriented show. While Bleach isn't necessarily the best example since it glorifies fanservice for both male and female characters, the vast majority of mainstream anime out there does flaunt a significant amount of boobage/panty shots etc.

There's nothing inherently wrong with NOT liking it.

I know I tried to make a lighthearted comment earlier, but the bashing of the OP really got to me.

10. I'm actually more of a Sensei/all the Zetsubou Shoujo-tachi fan, but even though I consider Kafuka to be one of the most frightening characters I've ever seen, I can't help but have a soft spot for that pairing. <3

23. That was unbelievably sweet. I don't know what your girlfriend would say, but it's pretty cute to take inspiration from Link and Mario.

25. Once my eyes stopped hurting from the sheer amount of saturation, I loved this movie. There were a few awkward moments, but overall it was really enjoyable. I didn't even know people hate it. o_o

54. MOUSSE! He was dorky like heck, but I loved him.

61. Himeeee~ ;_; That being said, she's ... Not really being sexually objectified. I'm not sure if this is really grounds for hating anime.

63. It probably sounds like a good idea to have that as your target weight if it weren't so unhealthy. I'm about the same height as Rukia, but even 33kg would be taking it overboard. Maybe try aiming for 40 so you don't look like the wind'll blow you over any moment. ._.

06. In my personal opinion, you'd have to be pretty shallow to like that character. He's a dumbass. Don't fret over not liking him; you probably just learned to recognize dumbasses.

23. That is quite possibly the cutest secret I've ever read. That's not saying much, but still.

48. Yeah. Most of what you said hits home with me. I don't feel like I'm betraying anything by reading or writing the stuff though because on the rare occasion I write something even close to erotic, it has to do with developing a character. Anything else I read, I usually read for the lulz. I can't take sex seriously at all.

If you want to write a non-erotic relationship, do it. If you want more stuff to read, write it yourself. Sex certainly isn't taboo anymore, but it's not universal law. Writing it because you feel like you have to isn't going to help you write any better either.

SEX is a major aspect of 99% of humanity- and the internet and the media (namely fandom) are both a gigantic hormonal outlet for that drive. No asexual revolution is gonna overthrow that (hell, if it did we'd go extinct), but if there gets to be some non-shitty, toned down relationship fanfiction out there in whatever fandom-land and it isn't fit for an 8 year old or boring as hell, maybe a few people will grow more partial to it and get a better grasp on how relationships can work beyond the bedroom/couch/back seat/kitchen counter.
