63. Well, for your sake, scrawny, I hope you're 4'8" and flat too. Otherwise, you will end up horrifying as all get-out. :\ Disappointing, since most of the Bleach cast has reasonable height/weight ratios.

Not secret: Weight loss secrets creep me the fuck out.

Maher is nothing short of brilliant and compelling, and I agree with you, but Stewart is frankly way more likable and has a much broader appeal. ...also his show is on a channel people don't have to pay extra for.

Just my two cents on why you get so many people hailing Stewart as the awesomest thing to ever awesome and barely knowing Maher exists.

But then she'll be "allowed" to cosplay!

God yeah. :\ Cosplay is allowed for human beings too. You don't have to be a super model to dress up like Rangiku or whoever. Whatever, cosplay elitists are forever fail.

Which is kind of a funny thing to say, and I am sorry for butting in here but I need to discuss this SOMEWHERE, because the nationalities of Bleach shinigami is just all kinds of What The Hell. Seriously, it says in one of the databooks that people think Rangiku is from EUROPE, which says to me that Rangiku's blonde hair isn't becuase it's manga and those are wacky mangacolors but because she is actually... you know, caucasian. With blonde hair. And she's still named Rangiku. And then there is Tousen who is just... no. He was not born with that name. HE WAS NOT.

Maybe noone can truly cosplay Bleach characters because we really don't have a single clue as to what ethnicity they really are.

Aren't they all ghosts, or dead, or some shit like that? I have no idea; the closest I've ever gotten to being an anime fan was when I was no-face for Halloween...

That they are, but dammit, they've gotta come from SOMEWHERE. I usually don't think too deep about that, because if I do I start asking myself "Why are people who are clearly not of japanese descent given japanese names when they die? Or, if they are all people who died in Japan and thus goes to the Japanese afterlife, why oh why is there a black man in there who died for over a hundred years ago?" It's... kind of too much for me to swallow.

Obviously at the door of Soul Society they are re-Christianed(does that make sense at all?) and given Japanese names because Japanese names are "kawaii". D:

God forbid someone cosplays a character that is clearly dark-skinned and the cosplayer is super white! *dramatic facepalm*

Well, when you think about how short she is though, it doesn't seem that ridiculous/outrageous. Thin yeah but I'm 170cm and 57kg and my BMI is right in the middle of "normal". So someone 30cm shorter than me being 20kg less doesn't seem all that ridiculous. She would just be very tiny and flat.

I didn't say she was normal. Just not extremely thin - she's 4 kilos away from being normal. My sister's BMI is 17 - yeah, she's very thin but not quite an alien.

Well, that's what I'm saying. Since Rukia is 4'8" and thin as a rail it's not impossible, but if the secret-maker had chosen anyone else in the series to emulate, she would've had a not impossible, reasonably healthy weight to aim for. Since she chose Rukia, being 70 lbs is impossible for anyone who has, you know, body parts.

They sound nice and reasonable because you're just dealing with pure numbers. Think of it this way: Someone who is 30cm shorter than you and weighs almost half of what you weigh. Did she have bones surgically removed? Does Rukia's giant head have anything in it? People weigh what they do for a reason.

Rukia's is underweight even for someone of her ridiculously tiny height. I checked.

Rukia is also dead. If the secret-maker is not 140cm tall, she will also be dead if she makes that her target weight.

Yeaaaaah I noticed that too, it was damn weird when I noticed that 33 kg=SEVENTY TWO FUCKING POUNDS.

That would never be my target weight D:. Especially since I'm 5'4'', but whatever.

Yeah, Rukia can only barely get away with that weight and even she -- 4'8" and a stick of a girl (not that I don't love her) -- is underweight. If the secret-maker isn't an eleven-year-old, she'll kill herself.

It's kind of sad. :\ Why not aim for Orihime's weight? She'll still be on the scrawny side, but at least she's got bones. No one ever says Orihime is fat. I don't get it.
