07. Seriously? I think this show has some amazingly brilliant satire.

11. Well, I honestly believe, while making fun out of overweight people isn't a good thing, encouraging it as a norm is NOT okay. I'm sorry if you are overweight and it offends you but I dislike greatly how being overweight is being accepted because its not healthy. I also do not like UTTERLY SKINNY being praised as well though. I think a medium between the both should be encouraged and not this ridiculous one-sided business. I do however think that cosplay is fun, but I would never do it unless I seriously had the body type for the character. Go people who feel comfortable going against that but personally seeing a fat person cosplaying a skinny character to me is equal to a skinny person cosplaying a fat character, both are inaccurate, but go both of them for being confident enough to do it.

23. Thats actually amazingly cool. If i were your girlfriend that would be an amazing compliment. I give you a lot of credit for staying with her though so many times. That kind of love is admirable.

25. This movie is HORRIDLY REMARKABLE. I have yet to see Iron Man and feel I will love it as well, but Speed Racer is amazingly good if you understand both the original series and how corny is so perfectly appropriate for it. I can understand why people think it is crap, but GODDAMN I LOVED IT.

Um, what one-sided business? The person was saying that people who make fun of overweight cosplayers are hurting her. She also said that she's trying to lose weight herself. You didn't even reply to what she was saying, you just spouted off how you feel about overweight people.

I was talking about the media genius. about how skinny is acceptable and how fat is unacceptable.

I knew what you were talking about, genius. My point was that you were contradicting yourself.

You're saying that both overweight and "UTTERLY SKINNY" are acceptable. That doesn't sound like one-sided to me.

Well you said i was saying it in regard to what SHE said, therefore I assumed that you were talking about what SHE was saying.

Also I do apologize for being quick with my typing. What I meant to say was: "Accepting overweight as okay is just as bad as the media accepting NEAR ANNOREXIC as perfect, which is one-sided nonsense."

Ah. Yeah, those were too separate thoughts. Sorry for the confusion. I understand what you're saying now, even if I don't agree.

Unfortunately it's impossible for one to become skinny overnight, but I am working on losing the weight I'm carrying. (Actually I'm down 4lbs since when I posted this secret. Go me!) But it's not just me.. I just feel like people shouldn't make fun of each other period.. Whether it's, "you're too skinny, eat a sandwich lol" or "PUT DOWN THE FUCKING FORK!" it's still wrong. And sometimes? They got that way before they realized it was a bad thing. I've been overweight since I was 7 (not as severely as I right now, but still, overweight) and that was before I knew there was anything wrong with me. Now that I know, I'm trying to change it.

I don't want to encourage overweight people to stay overweight; it's not good, it's not heathly. But at the same time, an unhealthy body image by saying, "IT'S NOT NORMAL, IT'S NOT OKAY!" is a bad thing, either. It depresses people more than it encourages them to lose weight. Why can't we have both? Stress the importance of HEALTH rather than the importance of looking good. If people love themselves, they'd want to lose weight because of the health factors alone. (For me, it's both. I want to look good, but I want to be healthy and live longer, too.)
