When I went to Australia, I ordered a lemonade with a meal at a restaurant, and they gave me a Sprite!!!

I didn't know this was a thing. I thought Sprite was lemonade to everyone.

No, lemonade comes from lemons. You squeeze all the juice out of it and add some water and sugar to balance out the tartness. All lemonade in America is yellow.

Sprite is soda.

"Pub squash" sounds like something you find under the table at a bar!

Well pink lemonade is a thing though.

But yeah, Sprite as lemonade is just very strange to me. :\a

I remember my French teacher explaining that lemonade in France was lemon-lime soda and not lemonade-lemonade. I've never been to France, though.
