I don't say it romanticises "abuse". I DO think it romanticises women liking jerks. Because, seriously - Kylo is a petulant jerk in canon right now.
Draco was the same for most of canon.

Fanfiction can fix a lot of that. Unfortunately, most of the fanfic I have seen for Kylo in fandom is really poorly done. Huge fandoms like SW (and HP) need good recs lists.
