I assume all religious people believe in ghosts. It's true for the ones I know. Also, it makes sense that someone who believes in the afterlife would believe in ghosts.

I always joke around, it's the evangelical Christians that most believe in black magic and "witchcraft." Like, damn, maybe I should convert, 'cause they live in a world where warlocks casting evil spells on children is a real thing and that is rad as fuck.

I've found the opposite. The most religious people I know don't believe in ghosts because ghosts don't fit into their conception of the afterlife.

IME the most devout Christians do not believe in ghosts. They believe when someone dies their soul goes straight to heaven or hell, it can't stick around on earth, and anything rumored to be a ghost is Satan's trickery.

I've found that there's religious personality that doesn't believe in ghosts, but are terrified of them and other supernatural stuff anyway. I think the logic there is that they it shouldn't be real because it doesn't fit into their nelief system - but if it was real it's definitely of the devil/ bad juju.
