Cuddling in bed in front of an open window while it's raining gently and steadily outside. We're wrapped in cozy blankets and the gray light is filtering... maybe there's a single lamp on, maybe not. We each have a pike of books we're reading. Maybe sometimes we'll talk in low voices, but we're perfectly happy to just enjoy each one another's company. In a few minutes, one of us will get up and make some tea and we'll drink it in companionable silence.
