Can you get a friend to help you? I once did this for a friend and I essentially just told her what to do while I cleaned as well. When she would get overwhelmed is exactly when I'd tell her what the next step was.

Sometimes it's really hard to self motivate so you may need help.

Not really. :/ Sorry for the puns, but my "close" friends all live about an hour away, and the ones that live nearer aren't that "close". I'd feel awkward asking for help with his from any of them.

This is sad, but...maybe I'll just imagine them here and telling me what to do next.... (dear lord, I'm so lame)

Or facetime/skype with them while you clean small parts, this way you aren't doing it on your own.
