The place itself is beautiful, and it was a lovely walk, but I didn't get to add anything to my Life List because there was a serious dearth of birds. However, we did get to see a muskrat swimming around, and I think I got some good pictures of a white-lined sphinx moth hovering around sucking nectar out of flowers.
Annnnd we may or may not add a new guinea pig to our herd today...
