Haha, I guess the best/only bit of advice I can give you is? Don't look at smething not canon as being something automatically "not IC." Because not canon =/= not IC, or else you'd have the same problem writing genfic, wouldn't you? Nothing ANY fanfiction writer EVER writes is canon, so if you look at it that way, you might have a bit of an easier time writing the pairing stuff you'd like to write?

I don't think anyone's implying that all forms of love between males involves fucking, and no one is trying to distort or discredit the purely platonic love you have for other males. I have to admit, I really don't understand this aversion for male/male pairings - the point is that there's room in the world for all kinds of love between either gender.

23. I finished Twilight last night. It took me a day and a half to read 450 pages, because I had to take frequent, long breaks to recover from the awful. I almost gave up a couple times but I was determined to finish.
