I didn't say that. I said I personally find it sexist to suggest that of course Quill has been "neatened" up because there's a woman on board, even if the implication is that he did it himself to seduce her (personally I suspect the other interpretation to be the correct one, but I wanted to give...the benefit? of the doubt). Surely that's the only logical leap rather than, say, that the behind the scenes people went for a new look for a new movie.

The behind-the-scenes reason and the in-universe reason are two seperate things and both can be correct.

Sure, but that's assuming any guesses for either reason are "correct" - they're guesses. And some of them are pretty damned offensive, such as assuming that Gamora would care at all about how Quill's hair looked or that a man would only change his appearance because of a women he liked.
