Thirding this.

I got my best pair of good fitting jeans at a thrift shop. Think of it - several decades worth of clothing available dirt cheap. This means that you'll never have to worry about ill-fitting clothes ever again. Just think of which decade's styles are most flattering to your figure, and research some quality brands every once in a while and you could have a wardrobe that's the screaming envy of your social group.
