I can't quite recall if any of the characters I've been attracted to have specifically been addicts, but plenty of them have been complete assholes with some serious flaws, so I won't judge OP of the secret. A lot of fictional characters have flaws or traits that would seriously concern or off-put me IRL, but I'd still say it's harmless to like fictional characters like that.
