I really liked that Venice looks just like a painting. I know the water is dirty and that the city is going to sink but man it was fun being there.

Oh, agreed. I liked it even better at night. My first evening there, walking back to my loft from dinner through all those alleyways, I was practically in a trance. I couldn't believe I was really in a place like that. I remember turning to my friend and saying, out loud, "I can't describe how I'm feeling but there's so much of it," which sounds like a stupid thing you'd hear in a movie but it was the only thing I could think of to say.
