I don't think I really find Kylo either attractive or unattractive. I just remember thinking he was a little bit uninspiring as a villain.

In a way that makes him almost a protagonist, or at least an...anti-villain? Is that a thing?

I'm not saying the story wasn't interesting, just that Kylo as a character was far from the most interesting part. I do find his obsession with Vader interesting, but...well, part of it may be that I feel like they're going for redemption with him, and after he killed Han, I just really, really, really hope they don't do it. It would be more satisfying to me if they just let him be evil.

The story feels much more to me like it's about Rey et al. anyway.
