I'm not a big cake person anyway. My go to-s tend to be cookies (especially white-chocolate and macadamia nut), pies (which get eating in this house, and I would not have problems eating if it was just me anyway), and brownies. If I'm making cake, it is probably to put in my Mom's triffle recipe (which is so amazing).

I love to bake and honestly, I'm a bigger fan of cookies, but since I've been finding that a bunch freeze well, I'll make more. Plus my office eats anything, so they always get anything.

I think I might bake a cake this weekend, this has encouraged me to experiment.

I want to bake, but we have so much sweet stuff in the house right now. Have to wait until all the cookies, cinnamon rolls, and ice cream is gone.
