Very little of it. Most of the music I listened to as a preteen was pop, and while I still kind of enjoy some of it in nostalgic way, my tastes have for the most part moved on from the majority of pop music.

But then again, my first CD ever was a mix CD called Now 3, which had:

Bitter Sweet Symphony by The Verve
The Difference by The Wallflowers
3AM by Matchbox Twenty
Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground
Bitch by Meredith Brooks

All of which are songs I still like and think are good. So I guess I like some songs from my preteen years in a piecemeal fashion. I'm just not blasting my Britney Spears, Planet Pop 2000, or S Club CDs anymore.

This seems like it'd be a great song to karaoke! As for Meredith Brooks, I'm not sure what happened to her, but I'm pretty sure she was like 40 when Bitch came out, so for a musician (especially a female one), she was sadly well passed the idea age to be first making it big. I'm sure that didn't help.
