I agree with you about the Blackadder roles (and Father Dougal) and I'd throw in any fool played by the gentleman in my icon, whether on Blackadder or not. Also Manuel in Fawlty Towers.

Hugh Laurie's Prince Regent is my favorite Blackadder role of his and I can't believe I forgot to mention it. :) I guess along those lines you could say Bertie Wooster, too.
