I didn't care for it myself, but it meant a lot to a lot of people I like, so I do feel bad about it getting cancelled for that reason. But... it was also pretty inevitable. It was a really expensive show, it was not high in quality, and it was insanely niche.

Yeah I think anyone who is pissed about it being canned should probably take a step back and look at how visually stunning the series was and how that creates for an insane budget.

Netflix doesn't usually release ratings but from what I know Sense8 is far from their number 1 show and even if it was number 1 I don't know if that budget could be justified on a streaming service.

Honestly some of the people being pissed about it are annoying me. I understand being upset your show is cancelled, that sucks, and the diversity of the show was important to them. On the other hand I've seen a few people ranting about how awful it is for Netflix to dare to cancel something so diverse and capital-I-Important as sense8 how dare they, and it's like...that's nice that it's diverse and all but Netflix doesn't cancel shows just because. If they cancelled it, it's because ratings vs cost were just not worth it, and I don't think any content provider, be it network or streaming, should be 'required' to continue to renew something that's a money suck just because Diversity.
