(Anonymous) 2017-06-03 01:48 am (UTC)(link)But Trump didn't seem to care about what, say, Rosie O'Donnell's children would've thought of the nasty things he said about her, y'know? And he brings Ted Nugent to the White House, and Nugent's been known to say some truly vile things about Hillary and Obama. Where's his sense of outrage on behalf of the Obama daughters, or Chelsea Clinton?
And there's a definite irony in Trump supporters, who loved Trump because he was finally ushering in an era of fighting "PC culture" and allowing people to finally "tell it like it is" and say whatever they want, getting upset when those same tactics are employed towards them. I'm all for holding Kathy Griffin accountable for what she did, for the reasons noted in this thread. But why don't Trump's supporters think he needs to be held accountable for his offensive speech, too? That I don't understand.
