I liked it a lot, but also have been consistently aware of and critical of the clunky dialogue and pacing. I like the idea of it, it feels refreshing and I enjoy most of the characters, but it's not well written.

That being said, a lot of poorly written stuff goes on for a decade's worth of seasons, so I'm really surprised it was cancelled? I had thought it was pretty successful and popular

I like it, but damn some of the pacing and character development is really off a lot of time. A few too many "emotion" montages and not enough conflict development.

The cancellation was entirely on the budget, it was just too expensive to make. Most shows that are mediocre but go on for seasons are still profitable somehow/are often cheap to make.
