Hmm, yeah I see what you mean. By responsibly, I meant not doing it around kids and blowing the smoke around other people. And other than that, (unless it's family), I don't think it's really anyone's business to judge and nose about whether someone smokes or not.

I think the problem with smoking is it's really hard to do it without effecting others, well like, unless you live out in the middle of nowhere with no other people.

Smoke smell lingers as well, I'm not sensitive to it but I have family members who can still smell it long after the smoker has left.

Doing it outside may seem like the nicer option but I can't tell you how many times I've had smoke accidentally blown on me while I was walking around.

Yeah this. Alcohol doesn't bother me, but I hate smoking and smokers because by its nature their disgusting habit gets shared around. My lungs are crap enough thanks.
