I agree with the very first comment-- you read the fic, hoping to be useful only to find out that you were the beard for her operation. I would be harsh with her, because well-- it's clear that you were used as a convenience. But then the first comment also had the right of it to take the diplomatic approach

I am not going to lie though, I'd feel satisfied to tell that person off.
