OP, I feel exactly the same. I used to be a huge Stephen Fry fan, I loved his books, and Jeeves and Wooster and Fry and Laurie. But every time he's said something, it's either been sexist, asinine and smug, and I just don't like him anymore. He went from being sexy and intelligent in my eyes, to some pompous out-of-touch asshole.
Also I don't have bipolar disorder, but I have anxiety and depression, and ADHD, and I don't use those as an excuse for being a dick. So. :/
