It's not like he's a monster, but he suffers from that problem where you're very clever and aren't used to getting backlash for your witticisms. Only of course this is the 21st c. and he's not just holding forth amongst a small circle of friends now, so his BS is the evening news. The stuff he said about how women don't REALLY like sex is particularly cringeworthy and dumb.

I still kind of suspect he said that last piece of nonsense because he was feeling pissy that Hugh is a sex symbol to lots of straight women but Stephen is not a sex symbol to very many gay men.
