Psychopass had a lot of potential for me, I really thought it was going to ping all my buttons. Neat designs, cool character concepts, darker and more mature themes... but instead, it just came across as unnecessarily fanservicey and over the top to me. I was sort of invested in just a few characters, and the one I was wanting to really pull through as a major player ended up dying, and I pretty much quit after that.

Maybe I could give it another try, it was a long time since I tried watching it. But I remember feeling a little confused that it wasn't going in any of the directions I had been hoping it would.

it's been a long time for me as well and i was thinking of giving it another try, because i did manage it through a few episodes before giving up on it. maybe the first episode was just such a bang that the stuff after it felt kind of a let down because i expected more highly emotionally intensive stuff.

idk, as i said, it's been a while and i just remember being bored by the main character and not interested by any of the side characters

(SPOILER especially that one handsome dude who had super high whatever and used to also be a cop or whatever and it was supposed to be this big shocking reveal and i was just like... ok... don't care...)
