Lol I didn't even know it was basically a tits-and-torture soap opera, so it was all a surprise. I watched the first season and pretty much had to slog through to get that far. I actively disliked pretty much every single character, because they were all douchebags. Didn't mean I wanted to watch them gruesomely kill each other. I didn't really get attached to the messy plot, and the dialogue was kind of ehh. Felt a bit like a teenage boy came up with lots of the plot elements, with all the murder and rape and other "shock" stuff, too. Worst part was, it didn't actually have any fantasy in it! Or rather, very little. The dragons were not enough to keep me enduring all the rest.
