Re: Theory about the book clubs low participation

I'm relatively(!) open to not only reading my faves, I've read Night Watch last month after all and others before that, but my personal taste isn't very compatible with our book club, I guess, at least not in the last few months. There are usually at least a handful of books in the nominations I would definitely read to participate, but those weren't very popular in the polls lately.

And I'm s o d a m n t i r e d of dragons, you have no idea.

I do love book club, though, and I will do my best to get a non-fantasy book elected for July.

But I honestly don't understand why all the fantasy and YA fans in the book club don't show up to the discussions. Last time was a nice surprise, but before that it looked pretty grim.
