I read the book if it sounds interesting and I can get a copy. Actually participating in the discussion is a separate issue. I may finish the book too far ahead and then forget stuff by the time the post goes up. Or the post goes up a little late and then I'm left out because even weekend posts go up very late where I live. I will still chime in the next morning if it's something I felt strongly about, but there have only been one or two books like that for me. Or three, I guess, because I did chime in the next morning on a book that I started and didn't finish because I really disliked the protagonist. It wasn't to bash, more of an analytical thing, but bashing might have been better tbh because while diet poison is great about replying, no one else bothers to check the posts once they go to bed unless there was overnight wank.

To be fair, I'm only great at replying bc of email notifs lol. I don't think other people are more lazy necessarily.
