I don't get how people can hate Lily when Ted is RIGHT THERE.

Seriously. To me Ted was the only unlikable character. I think in part it is because the show seems aware that Lily has faults whereas we're supposed to think Ted is basically right. And I just want to punch him in the face. It may be the only fandom I love while really, really hating the protagonist.
