I swear I hope now that I have the right meds I won't be falling alseep for hours during the day.

Fuck's sake I missed an important work related thing today because I fucking fell asleep. Gahhh.

though missing my period for this month was pretty nice. I'll be sad to give that up

Med complications suck. It is always hard finding the right thing that doesn't have the wrong side effects. Hope you get it worked out.

I will. The thing was more that I had a proper med for that but my useless ass pharmacy kept giving me the generic brand (which has different dosages) when I'm supposed to be on a particular name brand. This is a medication for my missing thyroid so I kinda need it to be right.

They just gave me the generic brand for almost a year despite doctor's orders and then were like "are you SUUUURE she needs name brand? We're going to have to contact your doctor to make sure." Fuck I need to go back to CVS. I can't help but hope my doctor gave them hell for that.

Ugh. That sucks. Stupid pharmacy. I hope your doctor did give them hell for that.

Currently having my own issues with meds because one migraine med had too many side effects, but the current one isn't working so well. We upped the dose of it, so we'll see. But on day 2 of a bad migraine, and it is impossible to get anything done when I have to take tramadol just to not have pain so bad I am crying. And I really don't like wasting an entire day being kind of high.

Have your doctor specify the name brand and write "dispense as written" on your prescription next time. It tells the pharmacy not to substitute generic, which they often do because generic is cheaper.

I think my doctor said she did that. Or something like it. but I'll suggest it for the future next time.

I hate when that happens to me because I've often had a hard time making people see that it's a medical problem.

Yeah I can imagine. I contacted my boss and .. well sort of told a half truth that I fell asleep because I was "under the weather" and she told me a recording would be sent to everyone anyway.
