But everything needs to be more than just fun these days. You go into a fandom space and say something was just fun and they'll (metaphorically) grab you by the throat and R Lee Ermey scream into your face "FUN, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN FUN, MAGGOT!!!! YOU BETTER HAVE SOMETHING MORE THAN FUN, NOW DROP AND GIVE ME EIGHTY THEMES, TROPES, AND ALTERNATE APPLICABLE INTERPRETATIONS, MOTHERFUCKER!".
