Rereading my last comment, I have to apologize for the typos. :(

All, but two of my icons are NXM. I'm currently working on a mood theme, too, although the one I have set right now is an unfinished EXILES theme.

I'm too much of an Astonishing fan (with Kitty) to enjoy Big Gay Colossus, unfortunately. :(

No problem. Typos happen.

I don't have any happy NXM icons, which depresses me a bit, but I was working on a NXM moodtheme a while back (got distracted, though.)

I've never much cared for Kitty. She's too bland for me to really care enough to pair her up with anyone.

That's kind of the way I felt about her before I read Astonishing and saw her played by Ellen Page. Like Cyclops, she's deffinately had a recent betterment as far as characterization goes.

Scott I sort of want to beat up for the recent turn towards "dark and gritty". I liked him as the boy scout against Logan and Emma's pragmatists.

I'm probably biased mostly because I don't generally read Astonishing, so I don't see much of her. So she seems to be nice enough but rather personality-less..

Scott, after Messiah Complex has been nothing more than a pain in the ass. Astonishing is pretty much the best, in my opinion, X-Men story ever. The characterization is brilliant and it's easy to relate to them without wanting to burn them alive.

If that's really Cyclops in YXM, I'm going to cry.

I figure the other comic series as of late haven't had much to do with her because no one can do her better than Joss Whedon.

I want someone (preferably Emma) to realize that he's being an idiot because he's just NO GOOD at being gritty. And then slap him silly.

I'm not much of a Joss fan. At some point I figure I'll pick up the trade, but right now I'm far, far too bitter about what he's doing to Runaways to want anything to do with him.

YXM is... odd. I'm giving it another few months to grow on me just because I love Santo and Sooraya, but... ::sigh:: (Also, they let Blindfold into combat situations. This is a STUPID STUPID IDEA.)

I'm surprised she hasn't already.

That's fine. I guess it's really just how you like to read comics that matters-- I still need to catch up in Runaways before I can make a real assessment about it, but Astonishing is still a great read.

I'm doing the same with YXM. It has... potential, but the current execution is just bad. I hope they fuse it with X-Force (which is probably the only series next to Cable I've enjoyed since MC) just so Kyle and Yost can fix it the hell up.

I think Messiah Complex gave everyone a lobotomy.

Runaways would probably read fine as an arc-- it's the "every five months" bit that's pissing me the fuck off. I'm just not going to follow a comic that only comes out every half-year, you know?

See, X-Force is mostly making me roll my eyes because I just don't give a damn about any of the members. I'll pick it up this week because I like Josh, but that's it.

Oh god, it's the same way with Astonishing. It drove me mad having to wait forever for each issue. That's what happens when you have one artist and one writer working on 8 works at the same time. Ugh.

I like Wolverine and X-23-- I'm a tad liking Wolfsbane too because of X-Factor, but otherwise, it's a team that should have remained where they were.
