154. If the way someone enjoys a series ruins the actual series for you, you're PROBABLY doin' it wrong.

160. OVERSTATING, and there should be something like Godwin's Law that jumps on anyone who brings up racism (and possibly homophobia, or misogyny, etc) without damn good reason. But I agree that it's really no one else's business, and that people assume being a furry is... something else than what it actually IS. (And no, I'm not one, but I don't give a shit if someone else is.) There's a difference between being a furry and practicing beastiality, or even WANTING to. And people who ship animal/nonhuman characters probably don't want to get off with them. asjkhfakjf argh.

NON-TL;DR-VERSION: I don't agree with you completely, at least about comparing furry-bashers to racists and homophobes, but I do think they're being pretty damn rash and thoughtless. (And for the few people who said "THEY AREN'T BORN LIKE THAT"... the OP is actually right, guys. You can't help fetishes. It's why they're listed as psychological.)

not!secret #1: I haven't seen the movie and have no opinion, but from what I've seen, it's not "she kissed him! OMG SEXISM!" that people are complaining about, it's her being badass and then turning damsel in distress just to have him play the white knight. That, I can see as a legit complaint.

Well, if you know it's overboard, that's good... but sometimes it helps to realize that even a fandom with TONS of bad fans doesn't mean there are more bad fans of the series than good ones. The bad ones just tend to be... louder and more enthusiastic with their stupid. ):

Also, sometimes the sane fans realize that the FANDOM is insane and avoid it like the plague. I can get behind THAT for some series. >_>
