I'm fine with seafood as long as it doesn't look like it looked when it was alive. Filet that fish; cut up and deep-fry that octopus; if it still has a head, keep it the hell away from me.

I don't really have a problem with that. I've lived in countries where serving the whole fish is the norm. And I love raw seafood preparations. Just give me all the seafood.

On a side note, octopus is the best, and I wish it was easier to find here. They made this amazing octopus salad in Croatia that I'd love to try to make.

I feel that way about squid. Cooked and cleaned=yummy nummers. Raw and au naturel=bleugh.

Aw. I love raw squid. Not sure why really because I'm a decently picky eater. Yet not when it comes to seafood. Give it to me any way I can get it.

Raw squid can be quite tasty, but it has to be really, really fresh. Then it has a creamy texture and flavor that's reminiscent of butter.
