Got my schedule for the week after next. 5 hours. That's all I'm scheduled for. I can't figure out why they are doing this, besides being overstaffed. I work hard when I'm there, try my best, I'm never late... Am I too slow a learner? Is it cause I can't get people to sign up for our stupid in-store credit card (which no one wants but they blame us for not selling them hard enough)?

I've been applying for different jobs, cause I at least need a second job, but I'm qualified for fuck all. No one wants me. I apparently suck at retail (my current job) and the job market in my town is exceptionally bad, its why everyone moves away from here. I can't even be a maid cause I don't have a car. I'll never have enough money to move out of my mom's house, and considering she doesn't like me and I'm the family failure (despite really trying my best) feels like a death sentence. I want to kill myself to get out of here. The only thing keeping me from doing it is the fact that my mom doesn't like my cat either, so idk who would take care of him if I was gone.

It's probably some combination of being over-staffed and the credit card thing (but mostly being overstaffed - and if people don't want the card, that's not your fault).

I'm sorry this is happening to you, anon. Snuggle your kitty, and maybe tomorrow investigate some volunteer options that might get you more experience in other areas, or if you have consistent access to a computer and internet, you might look at survey sites or Amazon's Turk project which is absolutely shit when starting out, but I hear if you stick with it, you get access to more lucrative opportunities.

You should look into transcription if you have reliable access to the internet and a computer! It's not a ton of money, but it certainly helps if you're only getting 5 hours. (I feel you; my next week is only 10.5, and I've only been averaging 17 the past few weeks.)
